Nations League matchday 3 and 4: Belgium needs some points!

From 10 till 15 October, it’s back on across Europe in the Nations League! Belgium, along with several other nations, will be looking for points. Can they get them in the upcoming 2 matchdays? Wait and see… If you’re looking for some pointers, you’ll find our predictions below.

Italy vs Belgium

Most likely to win: Italy

Italy played underwhelmingly at the recent Euro, but then again, so did Belgium. Both are looking for their best football, but with neither Lukaku nor De Bruyne, we’ll give it to the Azzurri this time.

England vs Greece

Most likely to win: England

England is still on its desperate quest to “bring football home”, and the Nations League just might be the stage to do so. Greece doesn’t stand a chance here.

Norway vs Slovenia

Most likely to win: Norway

With Haaland as a talisman, Norway is looking for a breakout performance. Slovenia sneaked fairly far in to the last Euro, but won’t be so lucky against the Norwegians.

Hungary vs the Netherlands

Most likely to win: the Netherlands

In recent years, Hungary has transformed into a formidable team. The Netherlands, though, will be simply too strong for Szoboszlai and his mates: away win for Oranje!

Spain vs Denmark

12/10 8.45 p.m.

Most likely to win: Spain

European champion Spain has nothing left to prove, but another Nations League title sure would be nice. Denmark will suffer defeat, despite all its best efforts.

Austria vs Norway

Most likely to win: Austria

Austria meets Norway off the back of its encounter with Kazakhstan. Norway shouldn’t pose too many problems: expect the Austrians to win.

Belgium vs France

Most likely to win: France

Belgium’s still missing 2 crucial players, so our national selection will have to wait a little longer to beat France. The victory will once more go to our rivals from the south.

Germany vs the Netherlands
