Stepping into the ring, we have Sarah Chaari. She is one of Belgians rising stars and became Belgium’s first female world champion in taekwondo at just eighteen years old. Chaari's lightning-fast kicks and sharp reflexes make her a formidable opponent. She's aiming to land a flurry of kicks and a spot on the podium. Watch her compete in the -62 kg category on August 9, where she’ll be bringing plenty of high-flying action. Fun fact:  she’s also studying medicine at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

Lotte Kopecky - Cycling (Road and Track)

Lotte Kopecky is a double threat, competing in both road and track cycling. She’s a powerhouse in the road race and time trial, and she’s equally fierce in the individual pursuit on the track. Whether she’s zooming through the streets of Paris or tearing up the velodrome, Kopecky is a force to be reckoned with. The time trial is scheduled for July 27, and the road race for August 4, while track events follow on August 5-11.

Belgian Cats - Basketball

The Belgian Cats are purring with potential as they head into the basketball tournament. Having clawed their way to a fourth-place finish in Tokyo, they’re hungry for a medal this time around. The team, led by Emma Meesseman, will be taking to the court from July 29. Prepare for some high-flying, slam-dunking action that could see Belgium roar into a battle for a medal.

Belgian Red Lions - Field Hockey

Don’t forget about the Belgian Red Lions, our men’s field hockey team! These guys are the reigning Olympic champions, having snagged the gold in Tokyo, and they’re ready to defend their title in Paris. With their speed, skill, and exceptional ability to make penalty corners look effortless, they’re a top contender for another gold. Catch their matches starting from July 27, and prepare for some stick-wielding wizardry on the field.

Alexander Doom - Athletics, 400 metres and 400 metres Relay

Alexander Doom, the European champion in the 400 metres, is set to sprint his way into the spotlight. Known for his blistering speed and powerful finishes, Doom is a medal contender both individually and as part of the 400 metres relay team. The 400 metres final is scheduled for August 7, and the 400 metres relay final for August 10. And if Doom is able to qualify himself, get ready to cheer as he aims to leave his competition in the dust.

Remco Evenepoel - Cycling, Time Trial

Remco Evenepoel, the cycling prodigy, is ready to speed his way to the top in the time trial. He began his athletic career in football, but soon swapped his cleats for cycling shoes, and the rest is history.
